Threshold of Pain and Individual Differences in Rats
Abstract
García (1974) say that open-field ambulation could be an analogous of Eysenck extraversion-introversion factor. The similarity of the relation between open-field ambulation with pain tolerance in rats and extroversion with pain tolerance in humans was studied to examine this hypothesis. The observed findings agreed with the Garcia hypothesis.
