Abstract
A few years ago, research focused on the study of emotions experienced in academic contexts emerged. In the present study, we focused on identifying and describing the academic emotions experienced by a group of secondary school students faced with reading tasks proposed in the subject Language and Literature in 2018. For the data collection we made observations of the classes corresponding to a didactic sequence, we administered a questionnaire that evaluates emotions in classes (AEQ) and we interviewed the students. The results are organized in three axes: description and analysis of the tasks proposed in the observed classes; emotional profile of students and their expressions about their emotions in relation to the sequence. To conclude, we refer to the objectives achieved and the contributions made by the study, and we also mention some future lines of research. Keywords
