Labor activities in offshore platforms in Brazil: The Knowledge Management in perspective of Work Psychology
Abstract
This study seeks to understand the relationship between human factors, technology and society, and presents an evaluation of knowledge management in the offshore working environment. It is focused on Petrobras, a brazilian offshore oil industry, and discusses the ways that company develops stress management program, from a qualitative methodology. Based on the thought of Habermas, the results suggest the need to present critical perspectives on working conditions and their relationships with mental health of offshore workers in Brazil.
