Psychoanalysis as Scientific Method
Abstract
This paper concerns the scientific value of Psychoanalysis. It puts on evidence that Psychoanalysis broke with the traditional naturalistic methodology, from the epistemologic point of view. It includes a brief reference to Freud's scientific thought evolution, and compares this with those of other disciplines like physics. Finally some considerations concerning a methodology based on «clues» (GINSBURG, 1979) are also proposed.
