Comportamiento creativo y agotamiento emocional. El papel moderador del compromiso afectivo

El propósito del estudio es determinar cómo el comportamiento creativo influye sobre el agotamiento emocional y si el compromiso afectivo altera la dirección de esta relación. El objeto de la investigación es el Sector Eléctrico Colombiano. La muestra está constituida por 448 empleados con estudios universitarios, el análisis estadístico se realiza a través de un proceso de moderación simple. Los resultados muestran que el comportamiento creativo y el compromiso afectivo se asocian negativamente con el agotamiento emocional. Seguramente, la capacidad adaptativa a escenarios difíciles, mediante puntos de vista originales, deriva en bienestar subjetivo y estados de ánimo positivos que amortiguan el estrés laboral; es decir, actúan como recursos personales al satisfacer necesidades básicas del individuo. Sin embargo, las altas demandas creativas, cuando coinciden con una implicación organizacional excesiva, pueden ocasionar rigidez mental y una autoexigencia tan alta que agoten emocionalmente al trabajador, lo que verifica el papel moderador del compromiso afectivo.
