Importance of Research with Animal Models in the Field of Individual Differences

Abstract

Every time is more evidence that between the factors which contribute to the configuration of a certain pattern of behaviour, not only the environmental influences -among them we can include a certain experimental treatment- and the previous history of each subject must be taken into account,but also the interindividual variability, which is an evident factor.

The present paper discuss the importance of the research in the field of individual difference and also the great helps that the use of animal models given to this field.
