Social psychology: In Search of a Paradigm Lost?
Abstract
The dfferents points of views about the scientific status of Social Psychology are confronted and the implications of the “crisis” of the discipline are analyzed. Some considerations are formulated in order to reorient Social Psychology in a direction close to the “new Epistemology” and to the development of “post-modern sciences”. The analysis of “action”, the “complexity paradigm” and “self-organizing processes” are the key concepts ofthis new orientation.
