The Human Research at the Start of the Laboratory of Conduct

Abstract

The Behavioural Laboratory of the new Autonornous University of Barcelona began as a human Laboratory as wel2 as un animal one. The interests of most of its foundation members were on human psychology. In spite of this, the Laboratory has become a model of animal research. It is proposed a self-shaping process to explain this paradoxical history.
