Abstract

This article presents a new perspective in the interpretation of the experimental results of Milgram (1974) about obedience.

This new perspective takes into account the most recent contributions of the European School of Social Psychology, mainly the Geneve School (Doise, Deschamps, Mugny) and Social Psychoanalysis (Mendel). Special emphasis is put on the analysis of the different levels of articulation in Experimental Social Psychology and Social Psychoanalysis.
