The production of a war machine in the aesthetic creations of RAP
Abstract
This paper analyses the aesthetics creations of Arma-Zen PRN, a RAP group of Brazil. The starting point is the concept of Politics in Rancière and War Machine in Deleuze and Guattari. The information has been produced through two group interviews with the collective of musicians, publications of the collective and its members in social networks, images and lyrics. This information was then analyzed through discourse analysis, based on the information produced and other studies. The aesthetics performance of this group is directed towards the production of new modes of existence in the world that decrystallizes experiences. Finally, we find the production of a peacemaking war machine which seeks to produce a mode of existence that combines the revolutionary power of the weapon, in Arma, with the creative power of the Zen.Keywords
