The experiences of trans* persons: stories about bodies, abjections and rights
Abstract
This article reflects about the experiences of trans* persons in the city of Recife-PE. Through a post-structuralist feminist theoretical perspective, and with etnographic inspiration, we conducted a dialogue with four interlocutors. Through their experiences we might reflect about bodies, sexualities and about issues of access and rights violations, specifically from the landmarks of sexual rights. Through our integration in various contexts of sociability and the organized movement LGBTT we met our interlocutors. The audiovisual tool was constituted as an important element for insertion and of approach with the field. Through their stories, we think about body building processes, which when crossed by different markers, reorganize their experiences in crossing different institutions, achievements, negotiations and violations in pointing to the complexity and multiplicity of the trans* experiences in the city of Recife-PE.Keywords
