Abstract

A critical analysis is developed on the evaluation of university teaching. Twenty-five years of evaluation at the Universitat Autònoma of Barcelona are considered as failure. Its lack of reliability is explained through the absence of criteria in its implantation. The model of the professor expert is explained as an option

Càndid Genovard, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona

Professor of Educational Psychology in the Department of Basic, Developmental and Educational Psychology (UAB) from 1968 to 2009. He began his academic career at the Universitat de Barcelona, continued at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in 1968. Doctor of Philosophy from the Universitat de Barcelona. PhD in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts (1973). Visiting Professor at USA (1971-1973), Florence (1980), Paris (1985) and London (1990, Institute of Education).
