Incidence of Psychopathological Disorders in Children

Abstract

By means of the analysis of anamnesic psychopathological questionnaire applied to the parents o f a sample o f children, we have investigated the prevalence o f a wide range o f psychopathological disorders present in the infantile population of Catalonia. The sample studied comprised 1350 male children aged from nine years and six months to twelve years and six months. As well as quantifying the frequency of each disorder we have studied its incidence in the different social classes and undertaken a statistical analysis of differences found.

The author proposes a line of investigation directed towards the analysis of the interdependence of the different disorders.
