Psychodiagnostic Report of a Case of Female Transsexuals
Abstract
Results obtained from a long observation period in a case of feminine transsexualism are presented. The psychodiagnosis was made by means of clinical strategies, in order to determine whether it was really a case of transsexualism and not physical intersexuality or genetic anomaly. Moreover, the differential diagnosis was made with transvestism and lesbianism, and lastly the psychic balance of the subject was examined. It concludes with a goal-setting therapy which was already started during the observational phase.
